The purpose of this screencast is to navigate the world wide web and take the audience to an oddity, a passion, an inspiration, and a surprise. The oddity is an area in Greece called "Meteora," meaning suspended in the ait where thousand-year-old monasteries are housed on the top of massive detached rocks. The big surprise is the island of Hydra, where only emergency vehicles are allowed and donkeys are used for transportation. What follows is a well-designed website that has a plethora of vegan recipes. Last but not least, I shared Haben Girma's inspirational Ted talk on removing barriers for students with disabilities.

This video tutorial was developed to assist PCC students who qualify for Notetaking support to use the Otter.ai app to record lectures. Desctript has the capability to display the transcript side by side with the video and highlight words as they are being read by the application's vocalizer.

In this digital storytelling video, I share the life of a Greek immigrant in the US in the 1960s. The video starts with the introduction of the main character, his life and challenges growing up in Greece in the midst of WWII, and his life in the US as an immigrant. The video was initially created with Camtasia without Closed Captioning. The version shared here was created with Descript.
